Application Process - Small Health and Wellbeing Grants

Applications must follow the latest application guidelines.
Please read the guidelines first, as they outline the criteria for potential project approval.

Applying for a grant

There is a single stage in the small grant application process:

Application for a Small Health and Wellbeing grant

(Please note there is a different application process for medical research projects.)

  • The Health and Wellbeing application form brings together  information to enable the Trustees to decide whether or not The Evelyn Trust can support the application.  Applications need to be accompanied by a letter from the head of the organisation applying.
  • Small Health and Wellbeing grant applications may be submitted at any time up to a deadline of 5pm on 8th March, 12th July or 8th November.
  • Applications are reviewed and applicants notified of the outcome usually within four weeks of the deadline.
  • A meeting will be arranged with the Charity Director to discuss the project and the grant terms and conditions.  Funds are usually available after the return of the signed grant conditions.

If applicants wish to receive an initial reaction to a possible application then please email the Charity Director, Rebecca Wood, for advice at [email protected].

We have moved to an online application system called Flexigrant.  Applicants must register for an account before they can access the form.  For help or guidance with the application process, please contact the Grants Coordinator ([email protected]).

Receipt of an application will be acknowledged.

Allocation of grants

Applicants should be aware that there is a very large demand for support and, therefore, by no means can all applications be funded.
Grants are distributed at the Trust’s discretion to selected registered charities, institutions and causes.  The reasoning behind its funding decisions cannot be discussed with applicants.
