Application Guidelines - Health and Wellbeing Grants

Special support for the mental health of children and young people

The Trustees have decided for the first time to ringfence a significant proportion of our Health and Wellbeing fund for this application year and the next to the theme of ‘Mental Health in Children and Young People’.  Exceptionally, we will accept applications from organisations who already hold a grant from The Evelyn Trust (including small grants awarded in 2024). We strongly advise that potential applicants discuss their initial thoughts with the Charity Director by email/phone before starting an application. The deadline is 6pm on 15th November 2024, and applications should be made on the usual online form. Awards will be made in July 2025.

Applications for Health and Wellbeing projects not related to children and young people’s mental health are still welcome, but be advised that available funds will be reduced this year and next.

The Evelyn Trust awards grants for health and wellbeing projects that fit the following criteria:

Outcomes might include:

NB Owing to unprecedented demand for our funding, and in the interests of distributing grants fairly, we have introduced new criteria for repeat applications:

– previous or current grant-holders must wait two full years from the end of their grant before submitting another application;

– unsuccessful applicants must wait two years from the submission date of their previous application.
