The Trust aims to benefit a broad range of projects over time. Grants must benefit charitable or non-profit making organizations. Grants must be significant in the context of the project and are one-off for that particular project. There is no recurrent award to support the ongoing costs of a project.
The Trust is increasingly interested in medical research and health and wellbeing projects that will deliver transformational change, especially demonstration or pilot projects. Please be sure to read the website section on our criteria for making grants. There are different guidelines for application and application forms for medical research projects and health and wellbeing projects. Applicants should choose the application which best fits their project.
The Evelyn Trust supports the Cambridge Clinical Research Fellowships Scheme and there is a separate application process for this. Please visit the ACT website and follow the guidance there. Applications are usually invited for these awards in April of each year.
Grants are distributed at the Trust’s discretion to selected registered charities, institutions and causes. The reasoning behind the Trust’s decisions will not be discussed with applicants.
First read the Application Guidelines for more about funding criteria.
