The Trust will consider grant applications for research that involve live animals provided that the protocols and approach used adhere to the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986, and the principles set out by the University of Cambridge on their website.
Applications are likely to be rejected if they fall within the list of “What we don’t support” given below.
Applications must follow the latest application guidelines.

There are 150 active
grants of £10.4 million
We are currently supporting 42 medical research projects, 101 health and wellbeing projects and 7 capital projects
Of the grants which have been completed, 107 were awarded for medical research and 107 were awarded for health and wellbeing projects in the Cambridgeshire area
