Small grants programme

Small grants programme

Our small grants programme is a rolling annual fund which is reviewed four times a year

We recognise that Cambridgeshire has many smaller charities for which grants of less than £10,000 can be very meaningful and important.

We therefore have a Small Health and Wellbeing grants programme for projects that are in the range of £4,000 to £10,000. The approval process is much simpler and decisions are made on the basis of the application form. Applications are reviewed each quarter and are awarded to small charities for projects that meet our normal Health and Wellbeing grants criteria. Closing dates for 2023 are as follows:

Q2  June 15th at 5pm
Q3  September 14th at 5pm
Q4  December 14th at 5pm.

Please note that having received an unprecedented number of excellent applications during 2022, we have taken the difficult decision to allocate the remaining budget to applications already received. The March 2023 round will therefore not take place.  Although applications can still be submitted, they will next be reviewed in June 2023 after the Q2 closing date.

Applicants will usually be notified of the outcome within four weeks of the closing date.

If applicants wish to receive an initial reaction to a possible application then please email the Charity Director, Rebecca Wood, for advice at office[at]evelyntrust[dot]com.

We have moved to an online application system called Flexi-Grant.  Applicants must register for an account before they can access the form.  For help or guidance with the application process, please contact the Grants Co-ordinator (nigelwood[at]evelyntrust[dot]com).
