Health and wellbeing grants

Health and wellbeing grants

We are interested in healthcare projects that support and inform population health and wellbeing in Cambridgeshire, usually in the range of £10,000 up to a maximum of £250,000. Applications must be received by 30 November in each annual round. There is a rolling small grants programme under which applications in the range £4,000 to £10,000 can be considered at anytime. Whilst welcoming other applications, we would particularly encourage applications that:

  • Are in line with areas of focus for support based on the Cambridgeshire Health and Wellbeing Strategy, especially:
    • Support young people within families with mental health, alcohol, violence or substance abuse issues
    • Assist working age adults with long-term conditions and healthcare communities that support these issues
    • Enable older people to receive help and support in the community rather than needing to go into hospital or long-term care.
  • Work at a strategic level in the region to suggest new modes of improving health and well-being which can seed, inform and drive long-term policy and practice.
  • For our small grants programme applicants should use the standard Health and Wellbeing form and there is no annual deadline

Grants are distributed at the Trust's discretion to selected charities, institutions and causes. Its reasoning behind its funding decisions cannot be discussed with applicants.
